I liked the orchid so much that I decided to have a play with the editing software and thought this effect was rather beautiful. What are your thoughts?
Ooohhhh! I don’t know! Should Mother Nature be fiddled with? On the other hand, it does bring out shapes, especially that bloom in the middle. So yes, the effect is rather beautiful, and illuminating. Maybe MN has a rival

It’s the shapes and structure that I like to bring out. And I wasn’t too happy about the sharpness of the original.
So you did! It has a sort of wistful look to it. Is it raining down there? Is that why you’re playing? 🙂 🙂
Not raining, but cloudy, warm, grey. But I sometimes get the urge to play 🙂 You been to Brum yet?
I’m here. Definitely a yarn to tell. Got my feet up with a glass xx
Pour me one then, we’ve just finished the Shiraz…. very nice it was too 🙂
Sorry – have to be white. Got some nice choccies though xx
OK. I wouldn’t mind a choccy, dark, milk? Soft fillings? 🙂
Choc orange brownies. Sound a bit sickly and they are actually but very nice. I’m feeling indulgent. Freedom you know? X
This would make a nice card or notelet, Jude. Then again, the original can’t really be beaten.
Regards as always, Pete. x
Looks really great to me: good job!
Thanks, glad you like it 🙂
I think it looks as though you have been very clever with crayons. I like the colours, but I am not sure that I like it better than the real thing.
If only I could draw so well!
I like it and have used similar effects before, but . . . I’d actually rather not know it’s an orchid, then I’d LOVE it!
Love this, Jude. Well done. 🙂
Love it.
That’s really clever. I love that you can produce an original piece of art without having to actually draw the thing.
